Revision Rhinoplasty
This lovely patient underwent a revision rhinoplasty to straighten her profile and improve tip definition. The surgery was interesting because it involved adding cartilage to the upper part of the bridge and into the tip, which may be counter-intuitive. By adding cartilage back to the nose, the profile became balanced, achieving the result that the patient wanted before she had surgery. This patient has moderately thick skin, which would have made any further attempts at removing cartilage from her bridge or tip futile.
